Uncle Chip's Cookies was started with a single product in mind: sweet, chewy chocolate chip cookies. The shop's secret recipe was developed by the owner during a year of intense taste tests and experimentation. Once she formulated the best-tasting cookie, however, she began production, and the rest is history.
Today the shop has a greatly expanded menu. Chocolate chip cookies are still at the heart of this business's sales, but you'll also find oatmeal raisin cookies, peanut butter cookies, and white chocolate-dipped shortbread for sale. There's even a limited cafe menu, serving both breakfast and lunch. Early in the morning (before 11:30 a.m.), you might pick up a toasted bagel topped with cream cheese and bacon, and if you stop by later in the day, consider a goat cheese and herbed pesto sandwich topped with avocado and clover sprouts.
Located not too far from Flats 130, Uncle Chip's Cookies is open seven days a week.
