Explore Washington This October With a Halloween Tour Through Washington Walks

Whether you are new to the city, looking forward to hosting visitors from out of town, or are a local resident who’s simply interested in getting to know your neighborhood a little better, Washington Walks has something to offer everyone. The company’s slogan proclaims that “If you haven’t been on a Washington Walk, you haven’t been to Washington,” and the social media reviews suggest that there is some truth to this notion.

The idea is this: when you hit the bricks, you can see the nation’s capital with fresh eyes, and the team at Washington Walks has been helping folks do just that since 1999. The tour guides come from a broad range of professional backgrounds, including actors, lawyers, journalists, and historians, but all guides have a deep and abiding love of DC and a passion for sharing it. The tours themselves run the gamut from seasonally themed (cherry blossom streets in the spring and haunted walks around Halloween), to neighborhood architecture tours (Georgetown and Embassy Row), as well as historical trips around DC monuments and memorials.
