Porron Keeps It Local, From the Coffee to the Cider

Anxo is a multifaceted small business in the DC area. It's part production cidery, part restaurant, and, with the debut of Porron about five weeks ago, it's also part bar and brunch spot. Every Saturday and Sunday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., other local businesses Timber Pizza Co. and Lost Sock Roasters contribute to the brunch menu.

Lost Sock Roasters brings its locally roasted coffee to brunch in the form of espresso, Aeropressed java, and glasses of cold brew. The coffee pairs well with breakfast empanadas from Timber Pizza Co., which are stuffed with ingredients like eggs, cheese, and bacon. Bagels, biscuits, and assorted pastries are also on the early-morning menu, with Timber's specialty pizzas available at 11 a.m.

Whether you come for brunch, happy hour, or dinner, you can always try one of Anxo's own ciders on tap. There are four staple ciders to pick from, as well as one guest tap. Cocktails and craft beers round out the list of libations at Porron.
