Spend the Night in Your Favorite Museum With Smithsonian Sleepovers

Enjoy the rich history of the Smithsonian with the special kids in your life with Smithsonian Sleepovers. Choose from the National American History Museum, Natural History Museum, or the Space Museum’s Udvar-Hazy Center. Take tours, play games, and do crafts, and then roll out your sleeping bag at one of these truly unique sites.

Each museum has a slightly different itinerary and activity schedule so that your little ones can choose the one that interests them most. Solve a Smithsonian mystery at the National Museum of American History, or explore the world of flight at the Space Museum. Enjoy breakfast in the morning and a quick stop at the gift shop for a souvenir of your awesome night. Smithsonian Sleepovers are for children 8 to 12 years of age, and there must be at least one adult for every three children in any group. Visit the website to see the various dates that are available to reserve, and more about the activities associated with each museum.
