Children Can Learn About the World at the Kids Euro Festival

For the past 10 years, the Kids Euro Festival has hosted more than 10,000 children and their families in the DC area. One of the largest children’s performing arts festivals in the country, this very popular celebration features more than 125 free events. Through the cooperation of 28 European Union embassies and 30 local cultural institutions, kids can experience a wide array of concerts, workshops, movies, dance exhibitions, and more. Young minds will be enriched and entertained by the likes of Finnish poetry, French puppet-making, and children’s songs of the Czech Republic. Kids can even become archaeologists for the day as they explore Ancient Greek culture at the Embassy of Greece.

The Kids Euro Festival runs from October 21st until November 5th, with a full schedule of events available on the European Union website. This festival is the perfect opportunity to expose children to the joy of discovering other cultures through fun and educational activities.
