If your favorite word in the English language is ‘free’, then listen up and mark your calendar for Saturday, September 22. Museum Day Live! is your chance to visit the National Museum of Women in the Arts for free, and all you have to do is download your ticket.
The NMWA boasts an impressive collection of over 4,500 works by more than 1,000 women artists, from permanent installations by acclaimed historical and modern artists, to temporary exhibitions like the current photobooks and photo zines display. Even if you’ve already been to the NMWA recently, chances are there are still plenty of new items to explore and discover. The museum also has a lovely mezzanine café, making it easy to stay the full day after refueling with some lunch to enjoy all that the NMWA has to offer. To get your tickets, simply visit the site and download a pass good for two free entries into the museum.
