To break through the cluttered DC food scene, you have to have some seriously crowd-pleasing food and the kind of service that locals need. Newly opened Petit Monde Bistro & Café has both, from their globally inspired menu to a café and bistro on site for dine-in service or grab and go.
Any time you’re passing through the Woodley Park neighborhood, hit the café for sandwiches, wood fired pizza, or simply just your daily latte. If you do have the time to sit, the bistro has authentic French crepes and fresh European-style salads, or more inventive dishes like savory al pastor on top of cornbread waffles. The bistro is also where you can grab a drink, whether you opt for something from the wine list or a handcrafted cocktail, plus perhaps another one of those pizzas.
Petit Monde Bistro & Café opens bright and early at 8 a.m., and serves whatever you’re in the mood for until 9 p.m. each night.
