Have a Shamrockin’ Good Time This St. Paddy’s Day at Kirwan’s on The Wharf

Once you step inside Kirwan’s on The Wharf, you will be transported into Ireland, with an old-fashioned Irish pub setting. The Wharf contains three bars, with a distinct feel in each section. The Main Bar is where you’re greeted with a view of the Washington Channel and experience a sparkling, social environment. The Whiskey Bar is separate but adjoined to the Main Bar and perfect for a more intimate atmosphere with tasty whiskeys to enjoy. The GastroPub is ideal for you to enjoy a classic, dining setting and if the weather is nice, there are also two patios (one outside the restaurant and the other, directly on the water bank.

Wherever you choose to sit, food and drink menus are available all over to satisfy your cravings. Their food consists of items such as steak, grilled chicken, crispy fish n chips, bacon and cabbage, a soup and chowder of the day, and for dessert, their brioche bread pudding or gluten-free chocolate brownie cake. Check out their drinks as well, with various wines, whiskeys, cocktails, and hard sodas. If you’re trying to get the authentic Irish experience, be sure to taste their Dublin Manhattan (whiskey cocktail containing Jameson, Sweet Vermouth, and Angostura bitters), or have a glass of their Crabbie Irishman (Tullamore Dew and Crabbie’s Alcoholic Ginger Beer). Be sure to visit their website before heading over from your apartment.
